Do you recall Myspace? Well ok, boomer! Just kidding. Social media appeared on the “scene” in the early 2000’s and what started as a fun way to share pictures and stories with family and friends has become a Jekyll and Hyde scenario with respect to the ways social media is used. People use it for everything from sharing cat videos and tender moments to threatening violence and spreading fake news. Once again, we are reminded of the danger of unintended consequences.
